History:The NCA was formed in the year 1999 in Augsburg, Germany. In attendance were Victor, Chris, Bona, Sunny and Fred. The original issue was raised when Victor Omoruyi talked about the need to form a Nigerian Community in Augsburg aimed at maintaining the interest of Nigerians in Augsburg.

Nine years has passed now and the NCA, is proud to announce that it is registered with the internal affairs ministry in Augsburg, Germany.

Presently, we have 30 members comprising Nigerians, Germans, Kenyans and Cameroonians. We are growing. We are also happy to be recognized and invited to partake in cultural events by the city of Augsburg who are always ready to assist in matters of integration.

NIGERIA

Information;

On october 1, 1960, the ferderation of Nigeria achieved independence. It was initially as a constitutional monarchy. In June 1961, the northern part of the of the United Nations Trust Territory of British Cameroons was incorporated into Nigerian's Northern Region as the province of Sardauna and in August 1963 a fourth region, the Mid-westeren Region was created. The constitution of the the Federal Republic of Nigeria was adopted.
